EDC Annual Meeting

EDC Partners are encouraged to attend the EDC Annual Meeting on August 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Tallahassee Community College's Advanced Manufacturing Training Center (AMTC), located at 3958 W. Pensacola Street on TCC Campus.

In addition to touring this amazing new facility and installing the new EDC board, attendees will be treated to a keynote address from Joe Meredith, PhD.

Meredith currently is president of the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center (CRC) in Blacksburg, Virginia, which consists of more than 140 high-technology companies and research centers that employ more than 2,000 people. In 1997, the CRC was named,"Best Practice in Technology Transfer and Research Centers" in the eight-state, mid-Atlantic region. The CRC has been one of three national finalists for the"Excellence in Technology-Led Economic Development Award" from the Department of Commerce.
